Anker Bluetooth Ultra-Slim Keyboard (Black) - Walmart.com
Overall, this is a very useful product. As a victim of fat thumbs, I find it very difficult to type. However, this product has saved my grade! It has helped me get more things done faster on my phone, and made me a better typer. Heck, Iâm using it to type this right now. itâs easy to use, just make sure you have an iPhone 8 or a later model if youâre an Apple product user!
Honestly this keyboard has exceeded my expectations. I use it everyday connected to my iPad Mini while attending college and it does a great job. I have been using this keyboard for over a year now without any issues. In that year its managed to survive being thrown around in backpacks and suitcases without any issues and Iâve maybe changed the batteries (AAA) once. The bluetooth configuration is awesome on this little keyboard too. Once the initial setup is done the keyboard remembers the device and will connect automatically when switched on in literally one second. (To be honest I find it connects faster and easier then the JBL speaker I own). Overall, I highly recommed for anyone looking for a small, reliable and inexpensive keyboard.
I am using this to write the the review ... It's easy to use, and very light if using it for travel.. There are directions for use.. Even though its pretty simple .. Turn on device, Find Anker on device , Type in the numbers it asks for...and, it pairs.. Any time, I turn it on it connects to my phone I plan on using it with my phone and eventually buying a bluetooth dongle to use with other devices, such as my Xbox.. Thanks for reading..It was 20$ it is a good deal and feels nice typing.. Works with Mac and Android for sure.. And, I will check with Windows and update in the future thank you :)
It's cheap and works exactly as expected. I have no complaints! I use it with my iPad Pro.
This was a great keyboard and I was happy when I got it, as I was using it for a school project but about after a week or 2 of not using it I turned it on and the A S D F J K L : ; keys were not working I do not know why but besides that good keyboard I like the feel of the keys and construction.
It's just Ok for me, it connects fine to my iPad 2017 but couple times it has lost connection briefly but Bluetooth is sort of flaky so this is not a deal breaker. Typing however is just a bit too clicky sounding and so I cannot rave about it but it is better then screen typing for sure. For $20 I can't complain too hard on the typing quality. If you don't want to spend a $100 on a tablet keyboard this might be a option with some compromises.
Have used it maybe 4-5 times, today I pulled it out to use it, even put new batteries in, and the keyboard doesn't work. My iPad found it just fine, I was able to enter the pairing code, but it basically would not respond to any typing except for a few random numbers and a letter or two. Super disappointed since most Anker products work just fine for me. I don't understand why this isn't working, but seeing other reviews lets me know that unfortunately mine isn't the only problem. Not happy.
I was so hopeful. I had hoped the 2nd time would work but no such luck! It didn't pair nor show up on my Bluetooth for my iPad mini4 and my lg android cell phone. I used new batteries and flipped it on but it didn't work on either. I returned it once before a few months ago with the same thing happening. I'm returning it for the last time. I really wish it had worked cause I liked the lightweight compact keyboard. :(
We're sorry this has happened, but there is a way to initiate pairing on these. Give us a call to troubleshoot - 800-988-7973!
I was not able to type a single sentence on this keyboard without double inputs or other false inputs. I went back to using paper and pencil to write what I needed to write.
Sorry to hear this! Send an email to [email protected] with your reciept and a brief description of the issue. We'll get to the bottom of it ASAP.
It wouldn't connect to my cuputer and it wouldnt even pop up as a device.
This can happen with some computers. Update your bluetooth drivers on the computer and try again!

Anker Bluetooth Ultra-Slim Keyboard (White) - Walmart.com
I purchased this keyboard because I wanted a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my MacBook and did not want Apple's way overpriced one that requires recharging after a day. So far this product is excellent and I can't believe how inexpensive it was yet I would never guess it was that inexpensive from the quality. It is great so far and I would highly recommend it.
this keyboard works perfect, and the battery last forever, I have almost 1 year with this awesome keyboard and I'm still impressed. I highly recommend this awesome keyboard, I paired with a samsung galaxy tablet.
I would like to preface my review by saying that Iâm always trying to get the best deal for the money Iâm willing to spend on something and I will watch and read reviews until the cows come home. With that being said here we go: * Build: Pretty good for the price. The keys are quiet, low travel, and quick to reset themselves making for a comfortable typing experience. The keyboard also has a green caps lock light, and a on/off switch. * Battery life:I have owned my pair for about 6 months now and i have not yet had to replace the batteries yet, and i do use it frequently on a daily basis, and do use rechargables.(Powered by 2 AAA batteries) * Quirks/ Qualms: none for far, but i will update my review if anything comes up. * Updates: I have added grippy shelf liner to the bottom of the keyboard for traction, and 2 thin strips of masking tape above the play/pause and the volume down buttons as tactile aids for finding those keys without looking at the keyboard, both highly reccomended. In closing the keyboard is great overall, and with the modâs found in the updates section of my review it elevates this keyboard for my to cult status.Get one.
For its cost, this is a great keyboard. Pros: set up is super easy and there's no lag whatsoever between key-strokes and action on screen. Comfortable to type on. Battery life is good. Cons: no true cons, but it feels a bit cheap as it's really lightweight and made completely out of plastic (for $15 what do you expect?). And keys aren't silent when you type. Overall it's a great value and you can be confident it'll work
I love this keyboard it is so easy to pair with your device. That being said, as cheap as this is I would recommend buying 1 for each device you will be using it with. The Anker keyboard does not like to switch between devices and you will often have to clear your bluetooth pairing and repair to get it to communicate. The other issue is double pressing keys. If you are the type who presses hard on the keyboard to begin with, this is the perfect device for you! I however tend to type softly and when you do this it will double up on letters a lot. All that said, I would buy this again!
It is... okay, for the price it is. Not particularly durable (dropped it about a foot and lost a key, and though I was able to put it back on it was never the same.) The bigger problem is that there is - some sort of delay, on occasion, between the keyboard and my device. It only happens with this keyboard, in several different apps, and it is quite bothersome. Its good qualities are that it IS cheap, and it is very light. I never had any device-linking issues, either
I bought this keyboard 3 days ago. I use it on my Apple IPad I bought at Walmart on sale. 128 GB IPad for $329.99! Needs 2 AAA batteries that will last 3 months according to the manufacturer. I would of given this keyboard 5 stars. But the keys started coming off very easily. So I put a small drop of Gorilla glue to seat the keys properly!
It sounds like you've fixed the issue yourself but to give you some peace of mind, that is not how we would like to leave you in this case. Rest assured our products do have an 18-month warranty, specifically that keyboard, if keys are coming off, give us a call (1-800-988-7973) that is something that we cover!
I bought this keyboard to save money after my apple one broke and I didn't want to pay for an expensive apple version. . I only Had this key board for about 3 weeks. Then certain letters on the keyboard stopped working. I use my computer a lot. So it's super frustrating. After the reliability of my apple imac keyboard. I opted to bite the bullet and get it. This key board is good as a temporary keyboard. But if you plan to use it a lot for typing its hot very reliable.
Rest assured we do have an 18-month warranty with our products, feel free to reach out to our customer support staff (1-800-988-7973) or ([email protected]) to get help with technical troubleshooting/possible warranty claim.
I once had an Anker keyboard ase for my iPad Air 2. I have always perceived their products to be of very high quality. I am not correcting the errors of this post to show how poorly this keyboard funtions. Several of the words were autocorrected too. Perhaps itâs simply defetive and needs to be returned, which weâll try. Itâs easy to see how pooorly it works with fresh batteries right next to my iPad. Do NOT recommend, but may revise my review depending upon how the replacement device works.
I had an Apple keyboard for years and it finally gave up on me. I needed something quick so I bought this one hoping it would be the answer. It's not - Worst keyboard I have ever used. The keys worked sporadically and when done you would go back and check your document and half the letters were missing. I'm returning it and hope Walmart will take it back.
Our keyboards are under an 18-month warranty, Please reach out to our customer support team (1-800-988-7973) or ([email protected]) to file a warranty claim.

Review: Anker Ultra Slim Mini Bluetooth 3.0 Wireless Keyboard
tl;dr: A great (and very inexpensive) alternative to an Apple-branded keyboard. You get what you pay for, and a little more.
Ever since Apple introduced its first 'chicklet-style' keyboards on laptops, I've been a fan. I love the feel of a loudly-clacking Apple Extended Keyboard II, but I can type much faster and more accurately on Apple's newer keyboards, like the $69 Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. I also like the compact footprint and durability of the aluminum-bodied keyboards, even with the larger Apple USB Keyboard with Numeric Keypad ($49).
Unfortunately, though, Apple's keyboards are relatively expensive, and I've found that between my iPad, my Raspberry Pi, my desk workstation and my standing desk (and elsewhere), I always seem to have one too few keyboards. Lucky for me, I found a really nice $19.99 keyboard that feels close to Apple's quality, sits in the same footprint, and comes in white or black: the Anker Ultra Slim Mini Bluetooth 3.0 Wireless Keyboard (made for Mac, iPad, Android, etc.). The name is quite a mouthful, but the keyboard is a pretty good deal!
Hardware / Build Quality
The entire keyboard is plastic. But other than that, and the letters not being the exact same typeface and font as on Apple's own keyboards, this little keyboard is the spitting image of an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard. It uses 2 AAA batteries, which will not last as long equivalent AA batteries, and the battery cover flap feels a little, shall we say, 'breakable.'
The key action feels close to Apple's own, but you can tell it's not exactly the same. I'd put the key action somewhere between a modern Lenovo laptop and Apple's own laptop keyboards. Every now and then I feel I have to push down a bit harder than I would with my Apple keyboards, but on the whole, typing feels good.
The on/off switch (on the bottom, near the battery door) is the worst part of this whole keyboard; it requires a good fingernail-push to switch on or off. The Bluetooth pairing button is easy enough to press, for what it's worth.
The hardware and feel is much better than I was expecting for $20, but it's definitely not in the same league as the aluminum-bodied Apple keyboards.
Looks
I bought the black version of the keyboard because I like a more svelte look. I have three white-on-aluminum Apple chicklet keyboards, and I love the feel, but wish they were slightly less ostentatious. This keyboard looks great so far, but I can tell the paint for the key lettering will start wearing off way earlier than on my Apple keyboards.
Everything's plastic, so the keyboard doesn't have a premium finish (the key action is also slightly louder than on an Apple keyboard), but it still looks and sounds a lot nicer than any cheap Dell, Kensington, HP, etc. keyboard I've used. The keys are already getting a little shiny in places after a couple weeks of hard use, but I'm fine with that.
Bluetooth
The range is fine for my needs. It works within the 5' radius around my computer and tablet. The batteries (2xAAA) have lasted two weeks so far, but I'm guessing they won't last nearly as long as my nicer Apple Bluetooth Keyboard's larger AA batteries. Pairing was quick and painless. No complaints here.
Usage Tips
If you're using the keyboard with a Mac, you might notice you have to use fn+Esc to hit 'Escape', since the key is mapped to a non-existant 'home' key (for iOS). To make using Esc easier, install PCKeyboardHack and check the 'Change Caps Lock' option, then set it to keycode 53. Now your useless Caps Lock key is an Esc key (old trick I learned when I started using vim and didn't want to get RSI).
Recommendation
This is an excellent deal for a simple, very nice looking, secondary wireless keyboard (though I would recommend either the full-size Apple USB keyboard or an Apple Bluetooth Keyboard for your desk. I might buy another to use with my Apple TV and in the living room (so I don't have to carry a keyboard from room to room). We'll see! I give the keyboard five stars for value, four for build quality and usability.

Anker ultra-slim bluetooth keyboard wont pair
So I got it to pair with my phone and tablet. Now I am trying to pair it with my windows 10 pc. However it failed when ever it prompted for the pass code. Now when I do it again its asking me to enter in a passcode. But every time I enter 0000+enter on both keyboards, it acts like its going to connect but then it says “Check the pin and try reconnecting.” what the heck is going on. I just want to use the dang keyboard and now I cant even connect it.
Update your bluetooth drivers on your Windows 10 pc, go to the manufacturers website of the bluetooth chip and do not rely on windows to update the driver. That has worked the best for many people who have issues using bluetooth in windows
1 Like
Agreed - Windows drivers are a total hit or miss, and you can find the bluetooth chip by googling your particular model or by using the dxdiag tool in the start menu.
@Rainel_Star The pin code issue will occur when you use the Bluetooth in windows. As for the pair issue, could you please try the following steps:
- Go to “Settings”,
- Choose to click on “Devices and printers”.
- Click on “Add a device” and it will search all devices.
- Click on “Anker A7726”(Or A7721) and a window will pop up to prompt you to enter a passcode.
- Click on the sentence below “Or, try entering a passcode” for the system to generate a passcode which you will need to enter on the keyboard and press enter.
- The system should then start to do the setup and you need to wait for the system set up to be completed.
If no avail, please feel free to reach out to us via [email protected] and we will gladly assist you to the best of our ability.

while pairing my laptop with the keyboard the pin came up on the screen but didn’t stay on screen long enough for me to write it down. Now I can’t get.the pin to come back on the screen. I turned off the keyboard and back on again but the pin will not appear again.
How can I get a pin?
You should never need to enter a pin, bluetooth has evolved enough where as one is not needed. If and when it ask for a pin, you should update your bluetooth driver…best bet is to go to the manufacturer’s website and download the updated driver for your specific bluetooth card, so not rely on windows update to give you the latest driver. Once you update it, you shouldn’t need a pin.
As with anything bluetooth requiring a pin, its generally 1234 or 0000
Hi. I have an anker bluetooth keyboard and the first time I paired it without a problem. Now it is wanting a pin. I’ve tried 0000 and 1234. .Neither worked. I’ve also tried adding a device using a generated passcode to no avail. I just need my keyboard to work again. Please help. It worked fine before so I’m assuming it’s not the
This took me a long time to solve, since none of the official “How To Guides” or “User Created Guides” worked for me at all. This was also perplexing because it works fine with Android but has issues with Windows 10; although several times it has worked with Windows 10, after several system (but not driver) updates it stopped working altogether.
If no other guides are working, you can try this:
- Go to “Control Panel” (Click Start and start typing “Control Panel” with the virtual keyboard)
- Go to “Devices and Printers”
- Go to “Add Device”
- Make sure the Bluetooth Keyboard is OFF (after trying with it on before and failing)
- Select the Keyboard if it’s still in the listings
- It will ask you for a pin, but under that it will ask to generate a PIN in small text
- Click on the PIN generation request
- It will generate a 6 digit PIN
- Immediate turn ON your keyboard and press Fn+Z (or whatever the Bluetooth-Sync is for your model; for some it is automatic)
- Immediately type in the PIN and press ENTER
It should sync
Notice: A. 6 digit PIN instead of 4 B. Going to “Add Bluetooth Device”/“Add Bluetooth or Other Device” under Windows 10 Settings didn’t work C. Going back and forth typing PINS in between the Keyboard and the Input Prompt didn’t work, regardless of order
D. Asking for it to generate a PIN when the keyboard is on just prompts an error
So this guide is for those in which the above might be the issue.

Just wanted to leave a note that some devices actually require a 6 digit PIN including some Anker Bluetooth Keyboards like the A7726 model. 4 digit PINS for those models will not work.
Thanks for this. I was looking for this answer. Most of it worked for me but here the sequence that ultimately fixed it for me.
- Go to “Control Panel” (Click Start and start typing “Control Panel” with the virtual keyboard)
- Go to “Devices and Printers”
- Go to “Add Device”
- Select the Keyboard if it’s still in the listings
- This will prompts a page with a blank box and a single line text under the box
- Click the text under the box
- This will generate the page with the PIN to enter on the Anker Keyboard
- Turn the Bluetooth on with FN+Z
- Enter the PIN on the Anker Keyboard and press Enter
None of this is working for me, it won’t pair I’m over it! I’ve had it for about a month and keep having pairing issues.
Yes,
I’m throwing my Anker in the trash. I have spent 5 hours messing with it already trying to pair it. Why doesnt Anker supply a damn pin? Stupid product and support.
Finally!!! Thank you! I just wasted 2 hours looking through various solutions. You basically have to use the “OLD” control panel which has that passcode and lets you type it in the keyboard you want to connect. Now I remember why I hate windows so much compared to osx
